This week we launched the Junior Duke Awards, to build independence, confidence, resilience and self-motivation. All children will have the opportunity to complete a series of challenges both in school and at home to learn new skills. We will be fundraising to raise money for the children to take part and earn certificates and badges. Further information about this will follow.
This week you will have received a consent form for your child to participate. Please do sign and return these to school as soon as possible so your child can benefit from this exciting opportunity!
Our Year 1 to 6 pupils have been given the opportunity this week to apply to become one of our Pupil leaders. Opportunities to lead include Year 6 House Captains, Team Protect, Eco Warriors, Curriculum Advisors and Digital Leaders. We will announce the leaders next week in the pupil’s assembly. Good luck to all applicants.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a concert on Thursday 24th October. More details will follow next week.
Every week, we learn about a different musician in school, from different time periods, cultures and styles of music. This week the children have enjoyed listening to the music of Katy Perry and a special version of Roar was learnt by all pupils in a special assembly, using British Sign Language.
Please remember if you need any uniform for your child that is second hand but in good condition please come along to the main office and we will support you.
