Dear Parents/Carers,
Autumn Term Newsletter – Edition 24
Welcome back
It is my pleasure as the new Head of School to welcome you back to the start of an exciting school year. I hope you have had a fantastic summer with your children and families. The pupils in Year 1 to 6 have been a credit to you. They have settled into their new classes quickly and successfully. We also welcomed our new Reception pupils today.
Staffing Updates
It is with great pleasure that we welcome four new teachers to Parsloes Primary School. Mr Cornelius and Mr Cracknell will be teaching in Year 4 alongside Miss Peters.
Teachers Mrs Smith and Mrs Seaton have moved over from our Partner School, Dorothy Barley Infant. Mrs Smith is teaching in Reception. Mrs Seaton joins us as an experienced SEND teacher and will be teaching in our new Additional Resource Provision (ARP).
Additional Resource Provision (ARP)
You will have seen that we have had some building work completed over the summer. We are near completion on our ARP. This provision will open in due course and will be led by our Inclusion Lead, Mrs Basri and Mrs Seaton, our new SEND teacher. We have also had new and safer fencing at our Spurling Road entrance and the ground has been resurfaced.

Your children look very smart in their new uniforms. Thank you for your support. We request that your child always comes to school in the correct, full school uniform and footwear. Please ensure they also have the correct PE kit and a plain dark track suit to wear outside.
If you need any uniform for your child that is second hand but in good condition please come along to the main office and we will support you.
