Dear Parents/Carers,
Summer Term Newsletter – Edition 15
Global Explorers – Reception
Our Reception pupils shared their work with parents and carers this week. They retold the story, Monkey Puzzle, shared the poem, Rumble in the Jungle and shared facts about India and Indian Animals
Time for Tea
Our Year 1 pupils had a wonderful tea party with their parents and carers. They made sandwiches and shared biscuits with family and friends and then watched the film, The tiger who came to tea.
Tombs and Treasure
Our Year 3 pupils shared all they have learnt about Ancient Egypt and they knew a great deal! They entertained us with many facts, showed us the mummification process and treated us to a fashion show starring the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses.
House Challenge
Today we held our House Challenge celebrating World Day for Cultural Diversity. We started the day with a very active Caribbean themed Wake and Shake at 8.30am. The pupils then shared in their class more about their own cultures. In the afternoon the pupils split into their house groups when they learnt more about cultures from around the world. Please see the post below for more information.
