13 Oct Harvest Festival
On the 7th October, Abby from Riverside Church visited us to deliver an assembly on the Harvest festival. She talked about being a good neighbour and how we can help those in need. She also told the story about the Good Samaritan, which the children re-enacted.
As well as being a very entertaining assembly, the children learnt a valuable lesson about being kind to each other. Parents and carers kindly donated food to give to Riverside Church and we wrote accompanying letters, wishing the recipients of the food best wishes.
We are grateful to be part of this community.
