Well done to our fantastic Year 6 children who completed their SATs tests this week. They showed dedication, resilience and supported one another throughout the week. They also all enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each day served by the Year 6 team. Thank you for all your support!
School Allotment – Gardening ClubOur school allotment is developing well. Our gardening club and eco-warriors have been working hard to make this area of our school a place of hard work, learning and fun. Our school allotment gives children hands-on opportunities to learn about nature, healthy eating, teamwork, and responsibility. It develops curiosity, resilience, and patience as children grow and care for plants over time. Allotments also support well being and enrich learning across the curriculum.
Look at my learning encourages children to share and celebrate their achievements with pride. Next Friday we welcome all parents and carers into school to look at their child’s learning. Please come along for a 2.45 start and enter via the Spurling Road gate. We look forward to seeing you then.
Well being is important for children as it helps them feel safe, happy, healthy and ready to learn. Next week our time to talk session is focus on children’s well being. Please do come along for a cup of tea and a biscuit while we discuss strategies and ways to support your child. See you there!
