Dear Parents/Carers,
Spring Term 2026 Newsletter
Dear Parents and Carers,
Year 6 – SATS tests
Next week, our fantastic Year 6 children will begin their SATs tests and we would like to wish each and every one of them the very best of luck. Over the years, they have worked incredibly hard, shown great determination and achieved so much to be proud of. They have faced challenges with resilience, supported one another and continued to grow into thoughtful, confident and hardworking young people. All of the teachers and staff are immensely proud of everything they have accomplished throughout their journey at school. From the very first days in the classroom to this important milestone, they have learned so much, developed new skills and created many wonderful memories along the way. Most importantly, they have shown kindness, perseverance and a positive attitude, which are qualities far more important than any test result!
As they approach SATs week, we encourage them to believe in themselves, stay calm and simply do their best. Whatever the outcome, we already know how truly amazing they are and how much potential each child has. We have no doubt that they will all go on to achieve great success and happiness in the future and we could not be prouder of them all.
Please ensure that your child arrives at 8.15 for their breakfast and enters via the breakfast club door. See you on Monday!

Boys’ school football team
This week, the Boys’ school football team travelled to St. Teresa’s school to play their semi-final match, against a team that had previously beaten Parsloes 7-1. On this occasion, it was a much tighter affair, where Parsloes were unfortunately beaten 5-4 and just missed out on the finals. The boys should be incredibly proud of themselves!

Time to Talk with Mr Asiedu
Thank you to Mr Asiedu who presented our Time to Talk this week on healthy lifestyles. Parents and carers worked alongside their child to find out more about the ways to stay active and healthy. Thank you to everyone who came along to join us. See you all next time.
Mental Health Week
Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week. Good mental health helps children feel confident, resilient and ready to learn. Simple daily routines such as talking together, spending time outdoors, having good bed time routines, eating well and limiting screen time can make a big difference. Encouraging children to share their feelings and encouraging them to ask for help helps them build strong emotional foundations. If you would like to discuss any of the above please pop along to see myself or Mrs Basri.
