Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of a rewarding Easter term, I would like to take a moment to thank our entire school community. We have had a busy term with our curriculum themes, trips, entry and exit points. Just this week our Year 4 visited St Margaret’s Church in Barking, Year 5 visited the Al Madina Mosque in Barking to support their Religious Education lessons and Year 2 visited the National Portrait Gallery to support their curriculum theme, Amazing Me.
This week we hosted the Barking and Dagenham, Primary Music Festival. We welcomed Richard Alibon Primary School and Dorothy Barley Infant School who joined us for a celebration of song.
This week we also welcomed parents of the pupils in our Rock Steady Band. We were delighted to see how much progress the pupils have made with their musical skills this term. If you would like to find out more information please see your child’s class teacher.
Our pupils have shown fantastic commitment to their learning, resilience in the face of challenge, and kindness towards one another. I would also like to extend my thanks to our parents and families for your ongoing support—it truly makes a difference.
We have a limited number of spaces left for our Nursery Class for September 2026. If your child was born between September 2022 and August 2023 please do come along to visit the school and complete an application form. If you have done so already you will hear from us shortly by letter.
We wish you all a restful and enjoyable break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting summer term ahead.

To reach the school target pupils must not have any more than 6 days off per academic year. If you need to make appointments for your child, please aim to make them out of school hours or during school holidays. Thank you.
