Transition Day
Today pupils met their new teacher for September. They have worked with their new class and found out about the exciting curriculum planned for the year ahead.
Please look out for a fact file from your child’s class teacher that will be sent via ParentMail today. Please share and discuss with your child.
Trips
This week Year 1 went on a trip to find the Gruffalo. They made dens, found pine cones, explored patterns and met all the characters from the story. It was a fun day had by all! As well as this, Year 3 had an exciting visit to the Gurdwara in Barking. They got to see inside the prayer hall and take in the beautiful decorations; while they learned about Sikh practices and beliefs. It was amazing to see all the volunteers at work in the kitchen preparing food that they provide for free every day to those who need it.
Junior Duke
We have had more children complete their Junior Duke challenges over the past few weeks. Please remember to send the booklets back into school so we can ensure the children receive their Head Teacher certificate for completing their booklet. These pupils will get a special time to share their booklets in assembly too!
Lunch Menu – Summer Term
Some of our Year 6 pupils have been helping us to redesign our lunch menu. We are pleased to say this is now in place. Please see the link below.
